The story of For Your Taste Only starts in 2013 when Marcel decides to transform his passion for wine into work and leave a nice job and career in the Financial Industry. With more than two decades of wine tasting experience, he decides to start a wine franchise and finds the perfect place: Maasstraat, one of the most charming shopping streets in the old Southern district of Amsterdam, close to the RAI expo centre. The shop in Amsterdam flourished through the years into a reference for the neighbourhood, a 100% bio shop where not only wine but a large range of products can be found on a daily basis. This range has been compiled through the years with love, passion and a lot of experience.

More than 500 types of organic wines and even more than 500 types of organic food products ( among which cheeses, beers, ciders, juices, chutneys, chocolate, jams and nuts we roast in the shop) are available in the shop. All are carefully selected, coming from small producers.

Every product has its own story! Isn't that special? Plus the fact that the owner is daily in the shop and ensures the best service for each and every client. These two facts make For Your Taste Only Amsterdam so unique in its kind, small but nice and caring!

Through the years business evolved and other segments were added to the daily shop activities: Borrelplateau.nl offers platters with bites for different occasions and events, For Your Taste Cafe always open for a coffee and a sandwich, Tasting Events in the shop, Pravalia Lu’ Marcel - a Romanian food segment added in 2019 and own wine & food import segment has been also growing in the last three years.

With Catalina joining the team, For Your Taste Only takes another step to ensure the best possible services and experience for clients and partners of the shop.
